Our design and consultation process

From the point of first contact, we will ask you for as much detail as possible, likes and dislikes, preferred materials, colours, styles and so on. From this initial conversation, we can begin to understand your ideas.

Once we have an idea of what you like, we can arrange a site visit (if needed) During this meeting, we will do a full survey of the space. Bring various samples for you to see and feel. You can also sample the various finishes and sheens we offer. We will also discuss the budget for the project, whilst we understand that none of us enjoy talking money, it is a very important part of the process to get an idea of what you as a client are willing to pay. We can then decide how to move forwards.

After the site survey is completed and budgets have been discussed, the design work can begin. We do full CAD drawings, 3D renderings in full colour, plan, elevation and dimensional plans. From these drawings we can then accurately price the project. At this stage we do not hand over our drawings to the client. Many hours of work goes into producing a 3D rendering for our potential clients. For this reason, we cannot provide them free of charge at this stage.

We would then arrange a second site visit where we will present you with our designs and quotation in person. If you are happy with the quotation, we can discuss any changes you may want to make to the design to ensure it is perfect. At this stage, we will give you the option to purchase the drawings, the cost varies dependant on the complexity of the designs and the time spent on them. Should you then proceed with us, the cost of the drawings will be deducted from your total project balance, ensuring that your drawings have not cost you any additional fees.
